I’ve run into similar situations when I’ve tried to donate $. I know many/most folks will just blindly enter their information. It’s as if they’re more interested in your information than the actual $. In most cases like this I refuse and they simply loose my sale/donation.

When it comes to donating, I’ve actually heard from folks in the field that they’re MUCH more interested in getting all your private information than the measly donation you might be making at that moment; the idea being that with your info, they can hound you the rest of your life and end up with a much higher total sum gained.
