This year I unfortunately missed the Cherry Blossom Festival downtown DC. I did; however, get a chance to see some of the Spring beauty when I visited Baltimore on a beautiful weekend in March. The blossoms at Ft. McHenry were outstanding, though we arrived there late and were basically kicked off the property almost as soon as we arrived. Apparently as a Federal park, it closes at 5pm regardless of when sundown occurs.
