Brookstone is filing for bankruptcy and closing all of its stores

August 2, 2018 Brookstone, the mall chain synonymous with massage chairs and other quirky novelties, said Thursday it had filed for bankruptcy and would be closing all 102 of its stores. The bankruptcy – the company’s second in four years – comes after years of declining traffic to U.S. shopping malls.

You’re going to have to pony up real cash from now on instead of getting those free lounge chair massages in at mall.
