One way to combat the gone crazy inflation is to cut down on the cost of eating, whether it’s going out less, eating more veggies instead of massively costly meat, or better yet just plain old eating less. Today was the first full day back in the office for me i nearly two years and so cost was on my mind as I spent $30 in gas, $15 in tolls, $15 for lunch not to mention all the other per mile costs associated with a commute.

This evening while out with the boys, I almost had a free dinner! On of our local fearless lawn bunnies walked right up to our cat as if to say catch me if you can. Unfortunately, the boys are quite lazy and as you can see in the clip, only gave an extremely half hearted chase. Honestly, I think they were quite scared of what would happen should the succeed in catching it. I’ve observed the same lazy chase behavior when the go after the ground hogs in our yard.

So since there is no free dinner tonight I guess it’s settle for that $5 Costco chicken.
