Can someone tell me how it makes any sense whatsoever to empty a terminal and re-screen all passengers if someone manages to “slip through” the process. Does they honestly believe that the bad guy will bring whatever nefarious device/weapon with him/her back out through the checkpoint instead of conveniently stashing it for later retrieval? Is this movie or some another…

Last night we had a bit of a scare as our furnace conked out with temps headed for the single digits. With a flashlight I crawled around and found a technician troubleshooting chart that helped me figure out that it was a sooted/gummed up flame sensor. A little bit of contortion with some steel wool and we’re back to cozy…

The place is pretty slick with a bit of a Bavarian beer garden architecture/aspect, stone oven pizzas, and of course solid micro-brew beer.
You don’t see it reported in the news; but, 10’s of thousands of Federal contractors working on an hourly basis will NEVER be paid. Additionally, in locations where there are concentrations of Federal works furloughed, small businesses are being devastated, again with no possibility of re-cooping lost revenue.
