Masked Travelers
Virtually all airport personal and about 10% of all travelers are wearing some sort of mask in misguided attempts to keep from contracting the Corona Virus. While the mostly flimsy surgical masks will do little for them, I am not complaining as it might help me from getting it… though with the shear amount of time we are spending in international airports, it is pretty much a dice roll.
From what I know so far, East Africa, including Ethiopia, Tanzania and Kenya aren’t hotbeds for the virus YET. However, all three countries do a metric ton of business with China, so I would imagine it’s a matter of time. Fingers crossed for them as they are already suffering biblical locus swarms this year that will necessarily cause starvation.
