Baby sitting is big $
All I can say is wow! That is some big $/hour for the neighbor’s daughter to be paid for baby sitting. If I could have made the equivalent when I was young for baby sitting, I would have studied child Ed instead of working my a$$ off in construction! I dare say there are huge numbers of high school graduates…

Repair the remodel job
Just before we bought our house, the owners decided to tile. Unfortunately, they went the cheapest possible route, using ceramic instead of porcelain directly on top of the existing thin 3/4″ ply sub floor. Thus, we have tons of cracks in tiles and grout.
