After Apple abandoned all of us Aperture users, I ended up biting the bullet and going with the full Adobe suite as it’s pretty much industry standard these days. I’ve been playing around with PhotoShop and am starting to get the hang of it. Once you get the whole layering thing straight in your head, it’s actually reasonably easy to do most simple editing. Obviously there’s an massive amount of power in PhotoShop that I’ll never learn/remember.
